Essential Crafts: Candles

Join us for our first Essential Crafts workshop of the year 

We will be making candles using soy wax and recycled glass containers! Soy wax candles are natural, renewable, long-lasting, and you can customize them with your favorite scents using essential oils. All ingredients and materials will be provided and finished products will be available for pickup one week after the workshop. 

This craft series is focused on practical crafts for adults that are fun to make and made with simple and low waste ingredients. Look out for a new and exciting adult craft every month – we hope to see you there!

En asociación con Hand in Hand Immigration Services, las Bibliotecas NCW ofrecen un Grupo de Estudio de Ciudadanía en español. Esta clase semanal de educación cívica es para adultos que están listos para estudiar para su examen de naturalización. Los estudiantes aprenderán sobre los fundamentos del gobierno y la historia de los Estados Unidos mientras se preparan para convertirse en ciudadanos. La clase se impartirá SÓLO en español.


Are you looking to prepare for the US citizenship test? We can help! In partnership with Hand in Hand Immigration Services, NCW Libraries offers a Citizenship Study Group in Spanish. This weekly civics class is for adults who are ready to study for their naturalization exam. Students will learn about the fundamentals of government and the history of the United States as they prepare to become citizens. The class will be taught ONLY in Spanish.
