Wildflower Walk on the Peshastin Mill Trail / Caminata de Flores Silvestres en el Sendero Peshastin Mill

Join Ted Alway, former owner of Derby Canyon natives, for an hour-long wildflower walk on the Peshastin Mill Trail! The Mill Site has a variety of native plants, many of which will be in bloom. 


We’ll meet at the entrance to the Mill Trail at 9am. The walk will be approximately 1-1.5 miles in distance and will last about an hour. 


All NCW Library Programs are free and open to the public.

Beginning Sewing: Burrito Pillowcase

Learn the basics of sewing while making a "burrito pillowcase." You'll use the library's sewing machines to assemble your project, after learning about the parts of a sewing machine and how to use fabric cutting tools. Ree and Ali will teach you lifelong skills for making and repairing your own home goods and clothing. 

Space is limited, and registration is required.
