Do you love to read? Do you love long walks? Do you want a way to balance your favorite sedentary activity with a more active one? Walk In The Park Book Club may be just what you're looking for! 

Just like a regular book club, you'll read on your own time. Then we'll meet weekly to walk in the park* while we discuss our book!

Digital MUSIC Endeavors

Digital music and video are everywhere. Learn how to make your own music and videos using computers, tablets, and/or phones as you become a Digital Maker Using Skills In Creative Endeavors! Ephrata Librarian Aaron will teach kids in grades 5-12 how to use apps like Garage Band, Logic Pro, iMovie, and more.

This club will meet on Thursdays from 4pm - 5:30pm and will celebrate our creative hard work by sharing it with the community and on our social media pages!

Registration is limited to 12 participants, so be sure to sign up!

Join us for an evening of crafting for adults while sipping wine at the Jones of Washington Tasting Room at the Quincy Public Market. The Quincy Public Library staff will provide the craft supplies and guide you through the craft.  Jones Winery will provide the location and be pouring their wine to those who'd like to purchase it. What better way to end an evening than to craft and sip with friends?  

We will be providing Monthly Adult Craft & Sip nights at the Jones of Washington Tasting Room Quincy Public Market 1004 F ST. SW, Quincy WA 98848 on the last Thursday of September, October, and November from 5:30-7:00pm.

Curious Conversations Series: Learn to Listen – Listen to Learn

Learning how to listen improves relationships, conversations, and comprehension.  Discover and practice techniques for invaluable communication skills.

This education series is in partnership with Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center and NCW Equity Alliance and  will feature learning sessions based on principals and skills used in mediation and restorative practices. Participants will learn listening and communication skills; study conflict dynamics and styles; and learn how to practice conflict resolution skills for de-escalation and peaceful communication.

Attendance at each session in the series is highly recommended. Drawing for a door prize will be awarded at each session. Additional tickets for drawing at final session will be provided for participants attending multiple sessions.

All sessions are free + open to the public.

Beeswax Wraps

Learn how to make beeswax wraps, a reusable alternative to single-use plastic wrap and bags. Participants will use our sewing machines to hem two wraps and add a buttonhole to one. Beginners welcome, and all supplies are provided.
