Join us for a virtual presentation from four NW kidlit authors as they discuss the books that shaped them as young readers, the books they write as adults, and how young readers and writers can find and tell their own stories.

Dan Gemeinhart, author of five middle grade novels including The Honest Truth and The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise.

Erik Brooks, author/illustrator of books for children including Who Has These Feet? and the Washington State Book Award winning Polar Opposites.

Kelly Milner Halls, author of nonfiction for young readers including Cryptid Creatures: A Field Guide and Death Eaters: Meet Nature’s Scavengers.

Sundee Frazier, Coretta Scott King/John Steptoe New Talent award-winning author of Brendan Buckley's Universe and Everything In It and The Other Half of My Heart.

This event is free and open to the public. It will be held through the Zoom digital meeting platform. To participate, register here. Registrants will receive an email with a link and password to join the Zoom event.

During the event, attendees will hear from the authors and then have an opportunity to submit questions through the Q&A feature for the author to answer live.
