Connect with authors online! This summer, we are bringing you an incredible line up of authors for NCRL Virtual Reads.

Chanel Cleeton is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick Next Year in Havana, When We Left Cuba, and Last Train to Key West. Originally from Florida, Chanel grew up on stories of her family's exodus from Cuba following the events of the Cuban Revolution. Her passion for politics and history continued during her years spent studying in England where she earned her bachelor's degree in International Relations from The American International University in London and a master's degree in Global Politics from the London School of Economics & Political Science. Chanel also received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She loves to travel and has lived in the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Learn more at www.chanelcleeton.com


All NCRL Reads events are free and open to the public. Events will be held through the Zoom digital meeting platform. To participate, register here. Registrants will receive and email with the Zoom meeting information. 

During each event, attendees will hear from the author and then have an opportunity to submit questions through the Q&A feature for the author to answer live.
